Marge Padgitt, the museum director, will conduct a powerpoint presentation about the museum to your group Via Skype or ZOOM. The presentation is approximately 45 - 60 minutes in length.
The Owens-Rogers House and Story of Lela and Ginger
Marge describes the history of the house where Ginger was born in Independence, Missouri; the restoration work that was done prior to the opening, and the history of Lela and Ginger Rogers, who lived in this home while Lela worked as a newspaper reporter. Hear the fascinating story of Lela Rogers and how she became a Hollywood scriptwriter and teacher for young actresses, and about Ginger Rogers' long and full acting, singing, and dancing career. In person: $200 in the greater KC area. $300 plus travel expenses for other areas in the region.
On ZOOM or Skype: Purchase $200 worth of items from our store to resell to your attendees.
